The Role

We are looking for a qualified and motivated Community Manager to help us grow and engage the Ethereum World community across different channels. You will be mainly responsible for executing our Community Building Program and assisting in content creation. Therefore, we are looking for candidates who have great communication skills in English, enjoy creative writing and making memes, and have in-depth experience with community engagement and social media.

As part of our team, you will work together with a group of talented professionals either remote or in one of our hacklabs in Switzerland or Spain, and interact with some of the brightest minds in the blockchain tech space on unique and challenging ideas. You will also be actively participating in open discussions and brainstorming sessions.

Requirements

  • Fluent English (fluency in another language will be nice to have)
  • Excellent communication and copywriting skills
  • Strong editorial eye
  • Able to work autonomously, set agenda and prioritize work with minimal input
  • Knowledge of the blockchain ecosystem and/or experience collaborating with the open-source community
  • 3+ years experience in community management and customer service
  • Experience in launching and managing community initiatives
  • Experience with content marketing, social media and related tools
  • Understanding of and passion for decentralized technology.
  • Able to create and communicate clear milestones on community growth and engagement
  • Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced team

Responsibilities

  • Ensure 100% transparency with the community
  • Oversee the community narrative across all social media platforms
  • Grow and engage a heterogeneous and multicultural community of blockchain enthusiasts
  • Execute Ethereum World's Community Building Program, orchestrate its different initiatives, and reward its participants
  • Assist in deploying a comprehensive strategy/plan to build a strong community that cares for its members and boost organic traffic
  • Respond to customer issues, comments, and questions in a professional, kind and timely manner
  • Create reports about community engagement and feedback
  • Share actionable insights from customer feedback internally to improve our products and service
  • Keep constantly updated on what's happening in "our universe"
  • Promote and support marketing campaigns
